Illegal TV has aired on cable access in Louisville since March, 1995 and is dedicated to all the people left out of the American Dream. All episodes are commercial free and run 30 minutes. All shows are now available on high quality video cassetes.
Here's our catalogue:
Episode 1- The premiere of Illegal Television in all of its low-fi glory. Featuring Claz in the starring role of the guy watching TV.
Episode 2- Contains complete 'METANOIA' of John D. Davis and discussion of Kentucky governor's race.
Episode 3- Features a video tribute to Stanley Crouch's essay "A Noble Sound" and the Jazz Dance Party. Get it while you still can.
Episode 4- Now we're really cooking with good graphics and crazy editing. Features best work of Chris Gibbs and other Rebels. Boss speaches and Cottner tips on Cow tipping. Only a hick can be elected governor. Also includes extended piece on the cut-up technique by John D.
Episode 5- (*Editor's Choice*) The Paranoia Episode. More crazy footage from Chris' early days. An Intense Eisensteinian exploration of film dialectic and Godard's Politics. Features discussion of Rousseu's social contract, the history of Mao and China, a tribute to cheap entertainment as an American industrial export, Where's the Boss?, and an individual's option to take Pascal's wager as a member of Society. Plus music by Crab Nebula.

6- Features way out Warhol/Welles inspired music videos, including Jungle Boogie and music from the David Borgo Quartet as well as the Hydra video. Includes dancing lessons from Brian Cottner.
Episode 7- Best of the first 7 episodes. Awise way to waste time. Shot's from New York streets and a 15 second look at D.W. Griffith.
Episode 8- Clarion Call to get yourself off the couch. A seamless synthesis of Illegal TV. No overt promotion of a platitudinous agenda. Music includes Live n' Funky breakdowns at Louisville's Butchertown Pub by the Schwartz Quartet (with Wes on Bass).
Episode 9- Illegal TV's tributes to the unsuccessful Kentucky gubenatorial campaign of Ethel McCray. Also, a quote from Hunter Thompson, The Ingmar Bergman mirror effect and Elvis' eyeballs.
Episode 10- The Pooh episode. Features 30 minutes of Pooh the kitten (the artist formerly known as 'Noam') as he plans the destabilization of International Finance and Capital. Caustic comentary from Chomsky. Also includes wicked tuba solos and excerpts from Tom Frank's articles in "The Baffler".
Episode 11- Part one of Illegal Television's exclusive interview with Rev. Louis Coleman, founder of Kentucky's Justice Resource Center.

Lucky Episode 13- The Communist Conspiracy Episode. Featuring the exorcism of International Capitalism's Rentier Regime.The world may never be the same!
Episode 14- An unintentional episode created by Furman & Becky in the access studio when they loaded a random cassette and started recording. Includes a stellar movie review including clips from 'Citizen Kane' and John Woo's 'The Killer' as well as the greatest moment from the history of film and television featuring Ricardo Montalban and DeForrest Kelley. Also includes 20 minutes of the lovely Ohio River on a gorgeous Spring day.
Episode 15- The Interview with Dixie. Live tuba jam. Cold blooded clips from early episodes.
Episode 16- Crab Nebula concert footage. Never before seen! 30 minutes of original home brewed Kentucky music.
Episode 17- The Mystery Revealed! Priveleged glimpse of a "noir" party somewhere in the Ohio Valley with a live performance by "Chicken Hawk".
*****Other episodes exist in various stages and formats on 3/4" television broadcast tapes, but their content remains mysterious.
